Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, all visa and/or mastercard payment is accepted. You will need to select PayPal when you check out to proceed with credit card payment without having to log in or register.
Do you provide a cake knife and candles?
Yes, we will provide one regular cake knife & 1 candle for all cake orders. Please visit the ‘Add-ons’ tab should you wish to purchase sparkler candles.
Will my cake be fine in the fridge overnight if I collect it the day before my event?
Yes, all of our cakes can be consumed between 24 and 48 hours after pick-up. We recommend you to wrap the entire cake box in two (2) layers of cling film before storing it in the fridge. This keeps the cake free of fridge odours and ensures any edible flowers will remain fresh. Bring the cake to room temperature before serving, and keep it away from direct sunlight, heaters or flames.
How do I place my order?
You can place your order via our secure online shop at any time. Just choose your preferred cake style, icing colour, cake flavour, and we'll look after the rest. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been accepted.
Can I change my order once it has been placed?
Yes, you can change any order within 10 days of its collection date. Simply email us your order confirmation number along with your change request(s). We will confirm all updated orders via email.
What's your cancellation policy?
We offer a refund should you cancel your order within five (5) days of its collection date. Please note that there is a 15% order processing fee that is not refundable.
How far in advance should I book my cake?
As soon as you can. We take orders on a first come first served basis and have limited availability. All our cakes are made to pre-order two (2) days prior the pick-up and/or delivery date.
I've left my cake to the last minute and the website says you are already booked out! Is there any chance you can squeeze my order in?

Can you write a personalised message on my cake?
We do not write directly on the cake but we have few options for you! If you would like your cake personalised, we highly recommend purchasing a customised cake topper through our "Add-on" section. We have few type that you might be interested with.
I've seen a cake on your Instagram feed that I really like. Can you make something similar?
Yes, our Instagram pictures will have a description of the cake styling that you can refer to when ordering your cake. Please note that all our cakes are unique, with no two cakes being exactly the same.
Do you make vegan cakes? How about gluten-free?
Unfortunately, no. All our cakes contain flour, eggs, milk and butter, and we are unable to substitute these ingredients in our recipes. We understand your interest, so we're currently still experimenting in making vegan and vegetarian desserts.
What's the best way to transport my cake once I collect it from your place?
Place the cake box securely on the car's floor, ensuring that the air-conditioning is on. Avoid placing it on the seat to prevent the cake from tilting during transit. Store the cake in a refrigerator, and allow it to reach room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Do you deliver to homes or other venues?
Brown & Sugar uses our own in-house runner. If you request for delivery services upon checkout, we gently remind you to schedule the delivery two hours prior to the event as the driver may require extra time to deliver the orders. We also recommend scheduling the orders to be delivered straight to the event venue to ensure the quality of your orders as Brown & Sugar will not be held responsible for any damages that may occur to the orders.
Self pick-up is also available.
